BRITNEY SPEARS has triumphed over the EAGLES in the European albums chart - the pop superstar's BLACKOUT disc is at number one.
The Eagles' first album in 28 years, Long Road Out Of Eden, beat Blackout to the top of both the U.K. and U.S. charts, but comes in as runner-up in Europe.
At three is Eros Ramazzotti's E2, while troubled singer Amy Winehouse's Back To Black to at four.
Meanwhile, Rihanna is enjoying a second week atop the European singles chart with Don't Stop The Music, holding off Spears' Gimme More at number two.
Plain White T's drop a place to three with Hey There Delilah.
